M-audio is just lazy to make drivers for their older hardware just don't buy anything with m-audio or avid on it. Rating 1 star 2 m audio profile lightbridge 3 stars 4 stars 5 stars. First up: installation.
Shutdown Mac, Turn m audio profile lightbridge on, then boot up the Mac. Then, in the corner of the screen you get a message stating a Firmware update is in progress, this should take 2 mins. The unit then starts sequencing some of it's lights.
I call M-Audio - their only response - 'oh yeah, a number customers have complained about this, you just have to give time' 'erm 45 mins for a firmware update is huge. Show More Show Less.

The Profire Lightbridge has been discontinued for a m audio profile lightbridge time now, so updates and support are limited, but we're always happy to help where we can! Besides the Lightbridge being a legacy product, Firewire itself has been a defunct format for more than a few years now.
This M-Audio interface m audio profile lightbridge compatible with most audio devices, giving you the flexibility to record, edit and mix audio. So should srieusement a review for M Audio. Cubase was ACCS all inputs or 36 outputs in total.
